A new model for protection, preservation & regeneration
Through a targeted set of actions, the Laguna Coast Foundation aims to protect the environment and upgrade areas both in Naxos and nationally. The above-mentioned actions have been carefully organised by the scientific staff of the Organization, which originates from the most important Greek universities. Achieving our net-zero goal will require a transformation of businesses, leading both to reduced carbon emissions as well as to optimization of the natural environment. Our “Research and Academic Committee” is key to our effort to deepen our understanding of the challenges and our mission to help navigate the way ahead together.

Precision agriculture approach in Naxian products
In the context of climate neutrality, reduction by 25% of the energy footprint of 5 Naxian agricultural main products through the precision approach by 2025.
Naxos’ fertile land and it’s substantial, water resources, in comparison to other Cycladic islands, ensure prolific farming and agriculture, capable of meeting the islands needs even during the summer months. Naxian products are also exported to Athenian and international markets.
